Delete your account
You can delete your account and data in the app, or ask us to do it by email.
In the app
- Open HeyAmigo and sign in.
- Go to Profile and tap Delete account.
- Type the confirmation word shown on screen.
- Tap Delete account. You return to the welcome screen.
What is deleted
- Your profile and personal data.
- Your conversations with Amigo.
- Files and documents linked to your account in our stored records.
- Your agenda and reminders.
- Your sign-in with Apple, Google or email.
What to know
- By email, we complete the deletion within 30 days.
- Deleting in the app is immediate and cannot be undone.
- It does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in App Store or Google Play settings.
- Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat follow their own policies.
- Your questions to Amigo and its answers may be kept without a link to your account, for our team to review and improve answers.
- AI reports you filed are kept without a link to your account. Removing the account link does not remove names or other personal details inside questions, answers or report notes. This text is not automatically anonymized and may still identify you or someone else.
- OpenAI keeps data sent to it for up to 30 days by default, and longer in some cases. The privacy policy has the details.
- Deleting your account removes your HeyAmigo agenda, but does not delete events exported to Google Calendar. You can delete those copies in Google Calendar.
